We are thrilled to announce the newest art venue in Salt Lake, Art Heart SLC!

Art Heart cultivates a vision to Dream, Create, and Inspire. Our mission is to create a vibrant studio of creativity, where every line on paper, stroke of a paintbrush, and molding of clay enriches individual artistic growth.

Art Heart SLC is delighted to offer an enriching after-school art program where children can learn about the great art masters, explore art movements, and receive individualized attention from experienced artists. Our step-by-step guidance helps each child create their own masterpieces.

This nine-month program aligns with the Salt Lake City School District calendar, ensuring a seamless integration with your child’s school schedule. We are here to support your child and your family—when the school is closed, we remain open; when the school lets out early, we are ready to receive your child with love and care.

Art Movement & Great Art Masters!

At Art Heart SLC, our after-school art program is a vibrant journey into the magical world of art! Over nine exciting months, your child will explore dazzling art movements like Pointillism, Abstract expressionism, Cubism, and so much more. Each week brings a new art movement, where students will learn about the fascinating lives of the old Masters, discovering their countries of origin and the art movements they pioneered or were inspired by. Our program is designed to be enriching, fun and engaging, transforming your child into an art wizard brimming with knowledge & the creativity to paint an original piece of art! Get ready for a joyful adventure that will light up your child’s imagination and artistic talents!

After School Details:

- Pick Up: Uintah, Dilworth, Emerson & Nibley Park.

- Hours: Monday-Thursday: 2:30-5:30, Friday: 12:30-5:30

- Dates: Art Heart SLC follows the Salt Lake City School District Calendar

- Open: Winter Recess, Spring Recess, Thanksgiving Recess, Non- Student Days

- Closed: Holidays

- Summer Camp: Registration starts January of each year. After school families receive early tuition & discount,

- We provide: all art supplies, homework help, reading time & field trips.

Spanish Tutoring Available:

Hola! Bienvenidos! Welcome to our Arte en Español program! Art In Spanish Program. A unique way to learn Spanish through art! Our program makes learning Spanish fun and engaging through creative art projects. After-school sessions are available in small groups. Spanish sessions will be during after school program.

Cost: $15 for 30 minutes. You may register for individual sessions.

After School Art Program, Fees & Tuition

Registration & TUITION:

There is a $75 enrollment fee that must accompany the registration form and is charged yearly in August for the school year or when registering for after school. Tuition is based on a 9 month commitment to the school year. Payments are due at the 1stof each month. Automatically credit card payment required. No refunds, no exchanges, no credit for unused days.

Scholarships:

Art Heart SLC helps families in need with partial scholarships. Please contact us if your family is experiencing financial hardship. At Art Heart SLC we believe every child deserves an opportunity to create! 

Payment and Refund Policy

Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. We accept checksand credit cards. Credit cards are charged a 3% fee. Make all checks payable to Art Heart SLC. Enrollment fees and tuition payments are non-refundable. No credits or refunds for absences of any kind.

Calendar Year:

Art Heart SLC Art Heart SLC follows the Salt Lake City School District Calendar. We offer year-roundservices. We open: Winter Recess, Spring Recess, Thanksgiving Recess, Non- Student Days. We are closed on holidays. Summer Camp: Registration starts in January of each year. After school families receive priority registration for summer camp prior to public open registration. After School families receive a discount and pre-registration for Art Heart SLC Summer Camp. Registration starts inJanuaryof each year.

Holidays

We are closed holidays.

Attendance

After School Art Program enrollment is for the school year. You are responsible for tuition payments regardless of attendance, absences, sickness, vacations. Tuition payments are due at 100%. We do not offer family vacation discounts.

Meals:

Parents are responsible for providing a balanced meal for their children for lunch & snacks. Provide your child with an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack inside. Any food that must be heated must be sent preheated in a thermos. We do not heat lunches.

Allergies

We are NOT a nut-free school.

Medication

We do not administer medication.

Withdrawals

Your enrollment is for a full school year, which starts on the first day of school or your individual start date if your child is joining us later in the year, until the last day of school. A thirty-day written notice must be given for withdrawal from the school. or a month’s tuition will be charged.

Withdrawals

Late pick-upsafter 5:30 p.m. will receive a $25 late fee per incident, per 30 minutes. In the event of a late pickup, you will receive a late pick up fee and must be paid immediately.

Late Payment Fees

Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. If we have not received payment on the firstof the month, we will charge a $25.00 per day late fee for each of the next three business days. After these additional five business days and a maximum of $75.00 in late fee charges, we will no longer admit your child to our center until we receive paymentand extra costs are paid in full.

Returned Checks

There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.
