• $325 per week

• $70 per day

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00am-5:30pm

• Registration fee and tuition are nonrefundable.

Art and Spanish Summer Camp Weekly Themes

Week 1 - May 30-June 6, 2025 Cosmic Creations: An Out-of-This-World Art Adventure!

Blast off into a galaxy of creativity with Space Art! This epic camp takes kids on an imaginative journey through nebulae, comets, planets, and even space aliens! They’ll craft their own cosmic creations while learning about the wonders of the universe. Get ready for a week of fun, as we explore the stars and bring the cosmos to life through art!

Week 2 - June 9-13, 2025 Dreamscapes & Emotions: The Art of Magical Realism with Frida Kahlo

Explore the colorful world of Frida Kahlo, one of Mexico’s most iconic painters, and dive into magical surrealism! In this fun and imaginative camp, children will learn how to express their feelings through vibrant, dreamlike art. Using bold colors and creative techniques, they’ll create their own masterpieces inspired by Frida’s unique style. Let’s paint emotions and bring stories to life on canvas!

Week 3 - June 16-20, 2025 Paws & Claws: Drawing & Painting Pets!

From fluffy cats and loyal dogs to goldfish, lizards—this camp is all about pets! Kids will learn how to draw and paint their favorite animals, from the real to the imaginary. Whether you have a pet or dream of one, unleash your creativity as we explore how to capture the charm of our furry, scaly, and feathered friends in art. Even cave people had pets, so let’s get drawing!

Week 4 - June 23-27, 2025 Pop Art Explosion: Dive into the Worlds of Yayoi Kusama & Andy Warhol

Step into the bold and vibrant worlds of Yayoi Kusama and Andy Warhol! Kids will unleash their imaginations by creating giant, whimsical flowers inspired by Kusama’s iconic style. They’ll also dive into the colorful pop art revolution, learning how Warhol transformed modern art in America. This week is all about exploring creativity and bringing larger-than-life ideas to the canvas, just like these legendary artists!

Week 5 - June 30-July 3, 2025 Loving Utah’s National Parks! Exploring the Mighty 5 through Art

Get ready to explore the beauty of Utah’s “Mighty 5” national parks through art! Kids will learn about the stunning landscapes of these famous parks, including Brycae Canyon and its incredible rock formations called hoodoos. Drawing inspiration from nature’s wonders, we’ll create beautiful landscape drawings that capture the magic of Utah’s wild and rugged scenery. Adventure and creativity await!

Week 6 - July 7-11, 2025 Masterpieces in Nature: Monet, Van Gogh & Cézanne’s Impressionism

An epic artistic journey inspired by the old masters, Claude Monet, Vincent Willem van Gogh and Paul Cézanne! Kids will learn the art of Impressionism by painting breathtaking landscapes during a beautiful nature hike. They’ll also create traditional still-life masterpieces, honoring the techniques of these legendary painters. A week of outdoor creativity and artistic exploration awaits!

Week 7 - July 14-18, 2025 Cartoon Magic: From Classics to Modern Masters” Takashi Murakami and Hayao Miyazaki

Dive into the world of cartoons and animation, where creativity comes to life! Kids will explore the history of cartoons, learning about pioneers like Émile Cohl and Walt Disney, and how the art form began. They’ll also discover the works of modern legends like Takashi Murakami and Hayao Miyazaki, creators of iconaic characters like Totoro. This camp is perfect for young artists eager to learn how to draw their own imaginative cartoons!

Week 8 - July 21-23, 2025 (Closed Pioneer Day & July 25, 2025 Masters of Imagination: Matisse, Picasso & Dalí

Step into the world of three legendary artists—Matisse, Picasso, and Dalí! This week, kids will learn about the fascinating lives of these great masters, discovering where they came from and what fueled their creativity. We’ll explore their artistic styles, from Matisse’s bold colors to Picasso’s abstract shapes and Dalí’s surreal dreams. Through whimsical renditions, kids will recreate iconic paintings and let their imaginations soar, all while learning how these artists shaped the transition from traditional to contemporary art!

Week 9 - July 28-August 1, 2025 Ink & Imagination: Indie Maverick’s Fantastical Animal Art

Have you ever seen a polar bear in a scarf or a squirrel in a sweater? Now’s your chance to create them! In this fun-filled camp, kids will learn about Indie Maverick, an inspiring international artist known for her whimsical animals dressed in quirky outfits. Using pens, pencils, and ink, children will bring their own imaginative creatures to life, learning Indie’s playful style along the way. Indie is a creative role model, encouraging young artists to dream big and have fun with their art!

Week 10 - August 4-8, 2025 Out of the Box: Abstract Expressionism & Modern Art- Jackson Pollock & Jeff Koons

What happens when artists break away from tradition? Kids will dive into the world of Jackson Pollock, the master of messy paint, as they splatter, swirl, and create their own Pollock-inspired masterpieces. They’ll also explore the playful, larger-than-life sculptures of Jeff Koons, learning how modern art can take on unexpected forms. Through this exciting camp, kids will discover how to think outside the box and express their creativity in bold, new ways. What do you see differently in your life? Let’s find out through art!

Week 11 - August 11-15 & 18, 2025 Reptiles, Bugs & Butterflies!

Get ready to explore the beauty of Utah’s “Mighty 5” national parks through art!
